Every season there is a team that come from no where and surprise football fans by finishing high up the league table and I aim to predict who they could be across the four divisions in the football league.
Crystal Palace – Premier League
With some shrewd signings this summer including Patrick Bamford, Bakary Sako and Jordon Mutch, Palace have strength in depth which will be needed to challenge in the higher places within the Premiership. Of course the players that’ll rise their Premiership status are Yannik Bolasie, Wilfred Zaha and Yohan Cabaye who can easily get into a lot of the top teams. I truly believe if they perform to their full potential and sign a quality centre back, they can make a serious challenge for Europa League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers – Championship
Since writing my blog trying to predict the Championship wolves have added some very quality players in Adam Le Fondre, Sheyi Ojo and Emiliano Martinez all on loan and with the Midlands club already having a good youthful squad it’s not out of there reach the championship title and sounding unrealistic. It’s not just me who has this opinion, for those who haven’t bought Four Four Two this month, they have predicted a similar outcome for Kenny Jackett’s men.

Blackburn Rovers & Bolton Wanderers – Championship
I’ve included these team together as I believe they’ll suffer this season for the same reasons. Money! Both clubs have financial issues with Blackburn under transfer embargo and Bolton having a debt touching £173 million limits who they can sign. Blackburn also losing key players and not replacing them with the same quality in my opinion makes them vulnerable as they’re success came through them players in recent seasons. Remember no clubs to big to go down. Just ask Wigan, Millwall and Wolves.

Bury – League One
The recently promoted side have had a good summer with some experience players at League 1 level and higher and with the strike force of Tom Pope & Leon Clarke, that’s enough to cause any team in the division and as everyone knows goals win games, I think they’ll definitely very close if not in the playoffs.

Hartlepool United – League Two
After an unbelievable comeback from relegation out of the football league last season, it’s been all change at Victoria Park with Ronnie Moore wanting to start the team from a fresh to give the fans some new names to chant from the terraces, I’d expect a late charge into the play offs as with so many changes the team has to have time to gel.
